Dedicated to supporting you In times of grief

Meet Sitka

Sitka Moss draws her greatest teachings from Mother Earth herself, having deeply learned from Her cycles and the wisdom she imparts. With a vast capacity to hold sacred space for emotions, Sitka’s own journey through grief serves as a wellspring from which she draws strength and understanding. Her ability to walk with others in their grief is rooted in her own apprenticeship, honed by the teachings of revered elders and mentors. Sitka carries rituals brought to the West by Malidoma and Sobonfu Some, integrating them into her practice with great reverence for the work they have done.

Her direct teachers in this life—Laurence Cole, Terese Chavert, Mary Hart, and Josea Crossley—have profoundly shaped her work, guiding her toward a compassionate, deeply respectful approach to grief tending. Sitka firmly believes that grief is not meant to be carried alone, and that tending to our grief within community is one of the most profound gifts we can give ourselves. She is dedicated to creating a space where healing can unfold in the company of others, as we all journey together in the shared experience of being human.
